Hair Trends 2017

A big hello to all you beautiful brides to be and a Merry Christmas to you all.

I wanted to get in touch and let you know that I have been busy learning and researching all the latest bridal hair trends for next year. I am currently working towards another accrediated bridal hair training course to keep me updated with all the latest techniques and styles. You will be pleased to know that I am always on top of the latest trends and completely understand what you ladies are looking for.

Yes I too, am a huge Pinterest addict and have fallen in love with all the latest looks out there. I don't want you to panic or think as I am living in the middle of the rural countryside that I am behind in any way. Plus I am always back in London a few times a year checking out all the new dresses, themes and ideas that come straight from the catwalk. I even assist with the catwalk shows myself so I promise you are in good hands.

I am always looking for a challenge, so never be afraid to send me over anything different. But the one thing I do encourage you to think about is fads. What you love now, might not be what you love in 10 years time. We will always look back on our wedding and think about what the trends are like now and what we wouyld have done different, that is part of life BUT what I will say is we together can incorporate a trend into a classic look. This way it will always feel like a classic style and not an "What an earth was I thinking do." I feel it is my role as your stylist to guide you in the right direction.

But in the meantime before all our skype meetings and trials, have a think about how you would like to look on your big day and how you would like to remember yourself in years to come. A natural enhanced version of yourself showcasing all your beauty in a classic way that lasts forever or a one off fad that will make you toes curl when you show your photos to your children in years to come.
Anyway I could go on for hours but I know how busy you are planning away and enjoying all your festivities, so in the meantime. I would just like to share with you some of my favourite styles for this coming seasons popular hair trends 2017.

Centre Partings are in this season, whether it be an up do or a loose downstyle. Maybe try one of these stunning centre head piece to compliment your look.

Loose braiding and plaits are big this upcoming year with little pretty flowers scattered through the style.

The grecian look is back and is a timeless classic. The latest accessories to hit the bridal market are these stunning gold leaf head pieces that sit decoratively placed across the back of your hairstyle or a hairvine that can be wound through the curls is also a pretty look.

For those brides with long hair or with added extensions, thes styles are very popular for 2017. You can scatter flowers or wind in a hair vine to create this soft romantic look.

The High Ballerina Bun can be sleek, loose and extremely glamorous. It can be a style that is pulled tightly back or soft with added volume. Either way this style is a classic timeless look that will never date.

Loose down messy waves with hair half up with a twist or a braid or more of a simple look.

Just one more thing that is really IMPORTANT to remember whilst choosing your style is that it is my job to make sure you feel 100% comfortable on the day, every side glance you see yourself in the mirror I want to know you're smiling with happiness. With this, how your style will look form the front needs to be tried and tested.

If you normally where a side parting for example, do you really want to change your look for your wedding. It is better to feel like you are comfortable or it WILL show in the photos if your self conscious about anything. If you have a fringe, it might be too short to go up ,in which case leave it like it is normaly but a little smoother or styled. If it is back and off your face I would keep it like that, here are a few ideas of the types of fringes that may compliment your chosen look.

Don't forget I am always here to help and answer any questions or worries you may have or if you would just like to send your ideas over for advice, please do.

I will be in the UK from next Thursday for a week but will be in direct contact with you all in the new year to get ready for the big day. It will go quickly so always keep planning and you can also add me to your Pinterest boards and follow us on there to keep updates wit what we are up to.

Have a wonderful Christmas Everyone!!
